The pilot at The Green Village, the living lab on the TU Delft campus, is complete. Over seven months, our pressure exchanger ran on an existing office heat pump, retrofitted by installer Warmtebouw, with system engineering support from industrial heat pump specialist IBK. Development on site continued until the first week of July 2026.
The goal of the pilot was not a headline number. It was to show that the device integrates into a professional heat pump installation and runs with integrity and reliability, on new and existing systems alike. It does. The efficiency gain measured during the test is being analysed and will be published as a case study once we can stand behind every figure.

The Green Village announced the milestone together with the news that HeatLift Dynamics continues as Expantec. Same company, same team, same technology: the name now says what the product does.
